RC GRoup - 2026 Championship Heat #3

Skippers, Please find attached the results of yesterday's competition. Also is a short video of the start of one of our races all be it a little grainy.

We had 6 boats on the start line for the first race, it was great to see this number on the water. The breezes were once again all over the place and at sometimes non existing making us wonder whether to abandon certain races or not. We soldered on and the day was still enjoyable with good company.

Ian was to take the First Place Honors followed by Myself and Bruce. Les, who was concerned about the weed in the lake like previous weeks, had other issues with his rudder being stuck and then his Sheet Line snapping and wrapping around his winch, the sound of the line breaking could be heard on shore.

Our next sail will be the B & B Chapman Memorial Trophy (Handicap Event for All Classes) on 07/06/2026. This is three weeks away as we did not want to clash with the Qld Marblehead Championships on the weekend of 30/5/2026.
